While Fat has a long history of bands influenced BY the Ramones (Chixdiggit!, Teenage Bottlerocket, Masked Intruder, Screeching Weasel), releasing an album FROM an actual Ramone is a first and a true honor. Last Chance to Dance is CJ Ramone’s second solo album and was recorded with the stellar backing band of Steve Soto (Adolescents), Dan Root (Adolescents), and David Hidalgo, Jr. (Social Distortion). With a sound and style true to the Ramones, CJ has created a positively infectious punk rock record. Sometimes you just “need a Ramones fix,” the expression goes, and CJ Ramone’s Last Chance to Dance satisfies that craving in spades. Don’t believe us? Go here and listen to the first track and single, “Understand Me.” The 7" will be released on October 14th (pre-order here) with the album arriving on November 25th. And now, a word from the man himself, CJ RAMONE:
Hey kids Cj Ramone here. My new record Last Chance to Dance is coming out November 25th!!! It’s 12 tracks of everything you’d expect from a Cj Ramone record. Hard chargin’ and vicious with some sweet melodies to smooth out the edges. Keep an eye for dates for our 2015 World Tour. See y’all on the big road.

Sleepwave is the new band from former Underoath singer Spencer Chamberlain, featuring band mate Stephen Bowman. Chamberlain and Bowman gravitated toward one another several years ago, based on their mutual appreciation of bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Filter. Broken Compass was produced by David Bendeth (Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, All Time Low) and it combines their mutual interests as they deliver the grungy side of rock music through the lens of classic song structure and melody. Sleepwave cuts through the white noise of sound-a-like charlatans like a dull knife. Broken Compass, speaks truth to power by bucking trends and digging deeply with a creative determination all too lacking today.
Alternative Press says Broken Compass is "a direct adrenaline rush that that offers energy and melody" with a 4/5 star review. "Hard rock needs a band like this" according to Under The Gun in their 9 out of 10 star review. Sleepwave's track "Through The Looking Glass" is currently #35 on the Active Rock Charts.
Sleepwave play a handful of headlining dates in support of their debut album. Broken Compass is available for purchase at http://sleepwave.merchline.com.

Front man Jonathan Vigil explains the album concept in a letter written to his younger self:
I'm writing to you now because it seems I’ve lost my way. I can't pinpoint exactly when it started, but I know that it’s not like it was before. I’ve realized the more time that passes, the more we lose touch. It’s starting to feel like all I ever do now is lose touch with things. But not you, I never wanted to lose you.
I wish I had something to blame it all on, but I don’t. One day I was there and the next I was here. As if I was dreaming and suddenly woken up. These days I'm always wondering if what I've done is enough. It’s getting harder and harder for me to shake this feeling of stagnance.
So old friend I’m writing to ask you what it feels like to have the whole world in your hand? Where we could set out and do anything that we imagined. Endless possibilities way before complacence set in. To be honest with you, I’ve forgotten what that all feels like. There was a wonder about us that has long since faded. That sense of excitement, I miss it.
Dear youth, will you show me again? I need to be reminded of those times, back before this began...
Dear Youth is available for pre-order now at: The Ghost Inside Store and at iTunes. After playing the main stage at the Vans Warped Tour all summer, The Ghost Inside will tour the US in November and December for a co-headlining run with label mates Every Time I Die.
